Built in 1887 by Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Castle and Key is truly a hidden gem nestled the woods of Frankfort, Kentucky. While visiting this restored distillery, you’ll experience not only the immense beauty that this property offers, but also learn about their unique spirits and how they were home to Kentucky bourbon’s first female Master Distiller.
During the months of April and October, Lexington is bursting at the seams with visitors from all over the world flocking to Keeneland for world-class racing during the spring and fall meets. This National Historic Landmark is open to the public daily to visit the stunning grounds and to check out the horses during their morning workouts.
