Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How far in advance should we book?
A: Depending on your destinations of interest, the more time, the better...especially if you're interested in visiting some more popular bourbon destinations such as Buffalo Trace, Woodford Resrve or Four Roses. Most distilleries are selling out at least 4 weeks in advance so it's best to give us as much notice as possible to make sure we're able to lock down reservations at every destination on your wish list.
Q: Do all guests have to be 21+?
A: While On Tap doesn't have age requirements, most tour destinations that are based around alcohol (i.e. distilleries, wineries and breweries) do not allow patrons under the age of 21. All guests that will be consuming alcohol must be able to present at valid ID to On Tap and each tour destination if requested.
Q: Can you bring your own food, drinks an alcohol on the tour vehicle?
A: Absolutely! Any guests consuming alcohol are subject to have their ID checked by the tour vehicle driver and On Tap Ambassador.
Q: Is there water on the tour vehicle?
A: Complimentary bottled water is provided for tours only, but can be added on if you're utilizing us for transportation.
Q: What is an On Tap Ambassador?
A: The On Tap Ambassador is your personal liaison for the day ensuring that you're not only staying on schedule, but you're getting checking in at each tour destination without struggling with where to go or who to talk to. You're guided through each property with ease. They'll assist with anything and everything you need throughout your tour day.
Q: Is gratuity included in the price or is it expected at the end of a tour day?
A: We automatically charge at 15% gratuity to your bill at the time of booking so that we are able to properly compensate all drivers and On Tap Ambassadors. Should you feel that someone went above and beyond for you and you'd like to tip more at the end of the tour day - that is at your discretion and will be split equally between the driver and On Tap Ambassador.
